Skyteam member Korean Air is now again represented with its own city office in Frankfurt am Main. This is located at the Opernpaltz in the city center.

Kiyong Kwak, Regional Manager Germany and Switzerland at Korean Air, was in charge. The 49-year-old airliner has been based in Frankfurt since the spring in order to rebuild and expand the local passenger business.

“We are looking forward to getting started again in Germany,” says Kiyong Kwak, Regional Manager Germany and Switzerland at Korean Air. “Due to the pandemic, we had to reduce and restructure the European branch network in the passenger sector in 2021, including Frankfurt. We are all the more pleased that our sales team is now growing again and we can show more presence among travel agencies, tour operators and corporate customers.”

Korean Air has been offering daily flights from Incheon/Seoul to Frankfurt since July 1st this year. The airline has thus brought flight operations between the two metropolises back to pre-pandemic levels and optimized travel options to Oceania and other Asian destinations, including Sydney, Auckland, Bali, Phuket and Cebu.

The flights depart from Incheon International Airport at 11:25 a.m. and land in Frankfurt at 17:40 p.m. We return from Frankfurt at 19:40 p.m. and arrive in Incheon the following day at 14:10 p.m. Korean Air uses a Boeing 777-300ER with 277 seats in a three-class configuration and the latest equipment on the connection.
