Fraport takes over concession for Kalamata Airport

Fraport AG has been awarded the 40-year concession to operate Kalamata Airport (KLX) in Greece.

The consortium, consisting of Fraport and the Greek partners Delta Airport Investments and Pileas, will invest 28,3 million euros in the modernization of the terminal infrastructure in the first three years. The total expenditure for the concession amounts to 45,2 million euros. Kalamata Airport, an important hub in the southern Peloponnese, is scheduled to start operations at the end of 2025.
