The Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings currently appears to be the victim of fraudsters posing as “Eurowings” on various social media platforms.

Among other things, on Twitter, which has been renamed “X”, the carrier warns urgently about fraudsters who would “contact” passengers via various accounts on various social media platforms and, under the pretext that there was a problem with the booking, would collect personal data and information would even require credit card details. It is expressly not Eurowings, as the Lufthansa subsidiary would never contact travelers in this way.
