Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The first Intercity Hotel in French-speaking Switzerland opened in Geneva. The operator is Deutsche Hospitality, which emerged from the Steigenberger Group.

The new house has 270 rooms, a wellness area including a steam bath and sauna and a fitness room. They also want to establish themselves in the conference sector, as the Intercity Geneva also has five meeting rooms. According to Deutscher Hospitality, five more hotels are due to open in the Swiss Confederation soon. No information was given as to whether it would be an in-house operation or a franchisee.
