Germany extends travel warnings again

The Federal Republic of Germany issued further travel warnings due to the new classifications by the Robert Koch Institute. Among others, Malta, Slovakia and the French border area with Germany as well as Corsica are new on the red list. As a result, travelers from these regions have to present a negative PCR test that is not older than 48 hours or have to go into quarantine for 14 days.

Other areas that the Robert Koch Institute classifies as risk areas include: The regions of Liguria and Campania in Italy, Great Britain, Ireland, Croatia, Portugal (Norte region including Porto), Slovenia, Hungary, Sweden and Finland. Eight areas in Switzerland, including the canton of Zurich, are classified as risk areas. In Poland the cities of Gdansk and Krakow. The travel warnings for certain federal states in Austria have not changed.
