Germany introduces compulsory testing for travelers to China

Advertising

Initially, the German authorities rejected a general corona test requirement for people who had previously stayed in the People's Republic of China. Health Minister Karl Lauterbach (SPD) has now announced that this will be introduced shortly.

The exact form is still open and will then be visible in the amended entry regulation. The government member said that before entering the trip, at least one negative rapid test result must be presented. In future, random corona tests will also be required as part of official entry controls.
