Toni Mörwald has been presenting a new show at the Palazzo Wen for a few days now. The theme is "Ghost Hour". Aviation.Direct has taken a closer look at what it's all about and whether it's worth a visit in this article.
Toni Mörwald made possible by the brand new show "Ghost Hour" a unique experience that will remain in the memory of the guests forever. If you are a fan of theatrical performance with elements of acrobatics and entertainment, you are in the right place. If you can't combine music, show, food and drink, then perhaps not.
Works of art on stage and on the plate
In a stylish setting in a large tent, guests are treated to a four-course meal. The production begins with a musical performance that immediately captivates the audience.
Aviation.Direct recently the current Addams Family tour at this link presented in more detail in a detailed review. Anyone who likes performances in the style of the Addams Family will certainly feel at home with “Ghost Hour”. But Toni Mörwald’s Palazzo is not just about art on stage, it’s also about good meals.
The process can be described in simplified terms as follows: The artists always perform a scene and at the end of each scene the guests are served a course. The waiters are friendly, quick and open to questions and describe each course in a graceful and culinary-passionate manner. Even Toni Mörwald personally supports his team with a big smile throughout the evening. The ambience, the great performers and the culinary highlight make this experience unique.

Big premiere in Vienna
On October 23, 2024, Toni Mörwald invited a select audience to the premiere in the Palazzo, which is located in the famous Wiener Wurstelprater. The audience's expectations were quite high. The guests were accompanied throughout the evening by breathtaking acrobatics, humorous interludes, a family atmosphere among all the employees, great musical accompaniment to the scenes and, above all, an unforgettable experience when the haunted mansion comes to life. Weird actors, unusual apparitions and spooky creatures leave their shadowy realm to perform the soundtrack of their lives for the guests in the spotlight of the Palazzio.
The actors obviously enjoy every moment in the spotlight and do their best to give the guests an unforgettable evening. Toni Mörwald's motto "Eating time is life time" accompanies them throughout the entire evening. In these few hours, the audience is immersed in a unique story that is staged before the eyes of the spectators. The four-course menu reflects the star chef's passion for his profession. Thanks to the creative culinary accents, the guests see and "eat" truly culinary works of art.
The agony of choice: vegetarian or classic?
There was a choice between a classic and a vegetarian menu. The starter for both menus was stracciatella pepper pear, Williams pear with stracciatella cream, an olive crumble, radicchio and Dijon marinade. It should be noted that the pear would certainly not have been harmed if it had been served slightly warmed. This would have brought out the other elements of this course even better.
The vegetarian starter I chose was a spicy curry risotto with crunchy tofu and a banana. The combination may sound strange, but it is worth sinning for. It was perfectly seasoned, but there is room for improvement, as the tofu could not be tasted at first bite. Roasted almonds would have rounded off this dish even better.
The classic menu had two huge and juicy prawns that went perfectly with banana and risotto. The highlight of the vegetarian menu was definitely the main course. Truffle gnocchi with spinach and black truffles were a dream. The gnocchi were generously covered in a very creamy sauce and wafer-thin truffle slices, as well as the perfectly seasoned spinach, made this the best dish of the evening. You should definitely treat yourself to it.
The classic menu included braised veal fillet, ratatouille, potato and truffle gratin with sugar snap peas. The smell alone enchanted the woman sitting next to her. She tasted every bite and told us what spices she could taste. These main courses are a must for every gourmet.

Dessert and Conclusion
The dessert for both menus was a Tarte Tatin. Verjus ice cream foam with a tarragon caramel sauce and pecan brittle. Personally, I would have expected a traditional chocolate dessert that would have perfectly rounded off this culinary 4-course success. At the end of the evening, all the performers, the kitchen and service team, as well as the leading team, were rewarded with loud applause and standing ovations.
Personally, I can warmly recommend this unforgettable spectacle to you. Every element of the show is perfectly rehearsed and brings great joy to both young and old.
