Graz-London Gatwick airline activated for summer 2026

The planned direct flight connection between Graz and London Gatwick (LGW), operated by British Airways subsidiary BA Euroflyer, is now available for booking for the 2026 summer flight schedule. Although the first flight will not take place until November 21 of this year, the airline is responding to increased demand for the upcoming travel season.

Wolfgang Grimus, Managing Director of Graz Airport, confirmed that booking requests from tour operators, companies, and especially private individuals have increased in recent weeks. The recent activation of flights for summer 2026 by British Airways allows travelers to plan their London trips well in advance.

The frequency of the new scheduled service remains unchanged in both the winter and summer schedules. Flights will be offered three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The direct connection to London Gatwick will be operated by a BA Euroflyer Airbus A320.

The Graz-London connection was considered Graz Airport's largest market without a direct flight. The newly established scheduled service with BA Euroflyer to Gatwick is considered important by the regional economy for industry, trade, and tourism. This fulfills a long-standing goal of Graz Airport.
