Greece: Strikes lead to flight cancellations

Advertising

In Greece, strikes are causing the cancellation of domestic and international flights on all existing flights.

The background to this 24-hour strike is the past train accident in which 57 people lost their lives. The related strikes affect all possible sectors, not only air traffic is included in the demonstrations. Local public transport and public services are also providing a sign of this event by suspending their service. With regard to air traffic, the cancellation of all domestic and international flights had to be announced.
