Frankfurt-Hahn Airport counted a total of 2020 passengers in October 37.905. The Regio-Airport is thus 71,8 percent below the previous year's figure. In terms of passenger traffic, this airport is mainly used by low-cost airlines such as Ryanair and Wizzair.

The reason for the sharp decline is the fact that the airlines have greatly reduced the number of offers due to the corona pandemic. Since demand is very weak across the industry, the minus in the current November 2020 is likely to be even stronger. Over the year as a whole, the Hahn is 69,3 percent below the previous year's performance.

However, the regional airport was able to grow in the freight sector. In October 2020, 23.106 tons were handled - an increase of 43,4 percent. This segment is also positive over the first ten months of the current year, with growth of 34,9 percent. So far 185.264 tons of freight have been handled in Frankfurt-Hahn.
