On November 11, 2023 the time has come: the LNG cruise ship AIDAnova starts its first winter season from Hamburg and has a true winter wonderland in its luggage.

AIDAnova sets course for Western European metropolises as well as Norway and Denmark on a weekly alternating basis, offering guests a large selection of special event trips until February 24, 2024. As part of the AIDA special “Sea of Lights” for four months in the 2023/2024 winter season, everything on board AIDAnova revolves around brilliant light shows, atmospheric productions and winter attractions.

At the start of the “Sea of Lights” event trips, audience favorite Wincent Weiss will give you goosebumps. “Arrive somewhere” – that’s the name of the charming singer’s current album. He has been in the German pop Olympus for a long time. On November 11, 2023, the North German singer-songwriter will set off a musical “fireworks” in the AIDAnova theater, one of his most popular hits, and many new songs. Guests can be there live and look forward to a pre-Christmas atmosphere on board during the subsequent trip. Breathtaking light decorations and laser shows transform the ship into a sparkling light spectacle. For example, the Beach Club is bathed in a sea of lights and floating light objects highlight the outdoor pools. Cable car gondolas, cozy decorated cabanas, winter huts with mulled wine, punch and small delicacies round off the pre-Christmas program. Family time is very important with curling, the light parades with the AIDA Clubbies and making lanterns followed by a parade. The 3.545 square meter spa area on board AIDAnova ensures physical well-being in cold outside temperatures, while the 17 restaurants offer festive culinary delights.
