Turkish Airlines is further expanding its service to Istanbul, offering up to six flights daily during the peak season, an increase of approximately five departures per week. This provides travelers with more choice and flexibility. Croatia is also in demand, with Croatia Airlines offering a new direct connection to Zagreb . Italy, with twelve direct flights from Rome to Sicily, remains a perennial favorite among summer destinations from Hamburg.
To ensure a relaxed start to your holiday, Hamburg Airport focuses on comfort and time-saving services. These include modern baggage and boarding pass machines, as well as the free " Slot & Fly " service for reserved time slots at security. Until the end of October, the terminals open as early as 3:15 a.m., and security is staffed from 3:30 a.m. Numerous airlines, including Austrian Airlines , Brussels Airlines , Condor , Eurowings , Lufthansa , Marabu, and Swiss , also offer the option of pre-flight check-in with baggage drop-off.
