Hamburg Airport welcomes large 2025 training class

Am Hamburg Flughafen The new training year has begun. A total of 21 young people started their training in the various business areas of the airport on 1 August 2025. This brings the total number of trainees and dual students at the airport to 52. The young professionals are learning nine different professions, ranging from commercial and technical jobs to specialized activities such as Factory fire brigade rich.

The training manager Vanessa Sauer emphasized the uniqueness of the environment at Hamburg Airport. She pointed out that the trainees could expect diverse and exciting tasks in a "city within a city." Hamburg Airport places great importance on training its own specialists. This is reflected in the fact that almost all trainees have been hired after successful completion. The application phase for the 2026 training program began on August 1, 2025. As a new innovation, the "Protection and Security Specialist" profession will be offered additionally for the upcoming intake. This continuous investment in the airport's own development of young talent will ensure the airport has a long-term supply of qualified workers and expertise in a specialized work environment.
