Hamburg Airport in northern Germany will close runways in 2022 in order to be able to maintain the runways. In June 2022, only one lane will be available at times. Other locks are spread throughout the year.

The dates for the annual maintenance and repair work on the runways at Hamburg Airport have been set: In June, both runways will be closed for one week. In addition, further closures are necessary throughout the year in order to meet the increased requirements for the runways.
