January 2023: Ryanair had 11,8 million passengers

In January 2023, the Ryanair Group had around 11,8 million passengers on board. The occupancy rate was 91 percent and thus 12 percentage points above the previous year's value.

In a direct comparison with January 2022, which was characterized by the appearance of the first Omikron wave, the low-cost airline was able to increase by 69 percent. At that time, Ryanair transported seven million passengers.

The financial year of the Irish low-cost airline ends in March 2023. So far, 165,3 travelers have been on board. Compared to the period of the previous period, it increased by 111 percent. The occupancy improved by 12 percentage points to 93 percent.
