Kiel Airport with a new operations manager

Kiel Airport in northern Germany has had a new operations manager, Marcus Beurer, on December 1, 2023. He succeeds Michael Schlaeger, who has retired.

“We would like to thank Michael Schlaeger for the many years of close and good cooperation. He played a key role in the development of Kiel Airport. We wish him all the best for the future,” says Volker Prange, Managing Director of Flughafen Kiel GmbH. “With Mr. Breuer, an experienced pilot with first-class flying knowledge is taking over management. Most recently, as Aerodome Flight Information Officer (AFISO) and deputy operations manager, he helped drive forward-looking investment projects at the airport.”
