Klagenfurt: Avanti Air has started Paros charter

The first Greece charter flight of this summer was ceremoniously welcomed at Klagenfurt Airport. With a cooperation between Springer Reisen and the airline Avanti Air, travelers can now fly directly to the picturesque Cyclades island of Paros every week. The new summer charter service offers a comfortable and time-saving way to visit one of the most beautiful Greek islands.

The Cyclades island of Paros impresses its visitors not only with idyllic beaches and crystal-clear water, but also with charming villages and historical sights. The Butterfly Valley of Petaloudes and the authentic Greek hospitality in particular make Paros a unique travel destination. The main town of Parikia with its winding streets and the picturesque marina of Naoussa invite you to explore extensively.

Another highlight of the new offer is the opportunity to visit the popular sister island of Naxos. After the flight from Klagenfurt to Paros, a short private boat transfer is offered, taking travelers directly to Naxos. This additional service opens up even more options for holidaymakers to discover the beauty of the Cyclades.

Summer charter details

The summer charter service between Klagenfurt and Paros will be offered from May 25th to September 28th, 2024, with weekly flights on Saturdays. The flights are operated by Avanti Air, a reputable airline known for its reliable service. The flight is with a Dash8-Q400, which offers 78 seats. The flight times are optimally tailored to the needs of travelers: The outbound flight from Klagenfurt (KLU) to Paros (PAS) takes off at 16:35 p.m. and lands at 19:20 p.m. The return flight from Paros to Klagenfurt takes place at 10:15 a.m. and reaches its destination at 13:00 p.m.

Paros offers a wealth of activities and sights to suit every taste. The beaches of Paros, such as Kolymbithres and Golden Beach, are ideal for sun worshipers and water sports enthusiasts. Hiking enthusiasts can explore the island on numerous hiking trails that lead through picturesque landscapes and traditional villages. Parikia, the island's main town, impresses with its charming streets, traditional houses and historical buildings, including the famous church of Panagia Ekatontapyliani, also known as the “Church of 100 Doors”.
