Klasjet stations aircraft in Cologne/Bonn and Berlin for better customer connections

The ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) provider Klasjet will strengthen its presence in Germany and plans to station several aircraft at Cologne/Bonn and Berlin airports.

The company announced this move to improve access for its customers in Germany. By stationing aircraft locally, Klasjet aims to offer more flexible and faster deployment options for its services.

Expanding presence in Germany

Klasjet, a Lithuanian company and part of the Avia Solutions Group, which claims to be the world's largest ACMI provider, is taking this step in response to the growing demand for flexible aircraft solutions in Germany.

The stationing of aircraft at two important German airports enables Klasjet to respond more quickly to requests from airlines, tour operators and companies that require temporary capacity.

Focus on ACMI and charter services

Klasjet offers both ACMI leasing and charter flights. In the ACMI segment, the company provides aircraft, including crew, maintenance, and insurance, to other airlines. Charter services are aimed at groups, business travelers, and sports teams.

By stationing in Cologne/Bonn and Berlin, Klasjet aims to shorten its response times and offer more competitive prices for charter flights from Germany. Boeing 737 aircraft will be used, both in VIP configurations with 56 to 104 seats and in standard seating for 186 to 189 passengers for ACMI operations.

Strategic importance of the locations

The choice of Cologne/Bonn and Berlin airports is strategically important. Cologne/Bonn is a key location for cargo and passenger traffic and also houses military facilities. Berlin, as the capital region, has a large market for business and private travel.

The presence at these two locations will enable Klasjet to better serve a broad range of customers in Germany. The expansion in Germany is part of Klasjet's growth strategy, which aims to expand its fleet to 2028 aircraft by 35.
