Cologne: Leav Aviation is now an airline

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The German startup Leav Aviation is now officially an airline. The Federal Aviation Authority has granted AOC and operating license to the company that leased the Airbus A320 with the succinct registration D-ANDI.

The former Easyjet captain, who worked together with the former Germania boss Johannes Klinsmann for around a year on the structure, now acts as managing director. The manager explained to the industry journal FVW, among other things, that the company already has 40 employees and wants to focus on charter and ACMI services. The first LBA acceptance flights were carried out a few weeks ago.

The home base of Leav Aviation, which was originally founded under the name Joot Aviation, is Cologne/Bonn Airport. The young airline's first aircraft is an Airbus A320 leased from Standard Chartered. This is 13 years old and used to work for Tigerair. The machine is registered D-ANDI.

    Great service, friendly, perfect.
Very pleasing “new release” compared to the usual charter airlines

Well, great service I can't attest to.
The lady on the phone cannot check in online and should report me at the airport.

    What's going on?

    Who can help me?

Please note that not all airlines offer online check-in or not on all routes. Especially in the holiday flight and charter sector, many airlines and tour operators only have the classic airport check-in at the counter on many routes. Caution: Low-cost airlines such as Sunexpress, Ryanair, Wizz Air and Eurowings charge a fee if you have not checked in online or have taken out an additional package for counter check-in that is subject to a fee or booked a tariff that includes this.
