Advertising

Korean Air has resumed passenger flights to Zurich in the 2025 summer schedule. At the same time, Eui Suk Byun is assuming the position of Regional Manager for Switzerland, responsible for the Swiss market. These developments mark a strengthening of Korean Air's presence in Switzerland and the German-speaking region.

The airline operates the Zurich–Seoul Incheon route three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. It operates a Boeing 787-900 aircraft, offering 24 Prestige Class seats and 254 Economy Class seats. Departure from Zurich is at 19:30 p.m., arriving in Seoul Incheon the following day at 14:10 p.m. The return flight departs from Seoul at 11:05 a.m. on the same day and arrives in Zurich at 17:30 p.m. Passengers have various connecting options to other destinations in Asia and Oceania via the Seoul Incheon hub airport. The flights to Zurich complement Korean Air's existing flight offerings in German-speaking countries, which already include Frankfurt and Vienna.

The new Regional Manager for Switzerland, Eui Suk Byun, brings over 15 years of experience at Korean Air and extensive knowledge of the European market. He previously served as Senior Manager for Passenger Business in the Frankfurt office from 2013 to 2014 and subsequently held various positions in the European market. Most recently, Byun was part of a working group for the acquisition of Asiana Airlines before taking over as head of the Swiss office in April 2025. His experience and German language skills will strengthen relationships with customers and partners in Switzerland. Korean Air's Swiss office can be reached by phone at +41 43 816 30 40 or via the call center at +0800 140 325.
