The airline Korean Air is planning to significantly expand its aircraft fleet after taking over Asiana Airlines. This is shown not only by the latest order from Airbus, but also by the interest in the Boeing 777X.
After taking over Asiana Airlines, the airline Korean Air is planning a sustainable but significant expansion of its fleet. Airbus recently announced an order from Korean Air for 33 aircraft. The order includes 27 A350-100s and six A350-900s. After the Airbus order, the Korean airline is also interested in ordering from Boeing. Ten Boeing 777Xs are to be ordered here; the airline is currently in talks with the aircraft manufacturer, reports the Aero.de portal.
