Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Korean Air has launched a new safety video featuring a virtual protagonist wearing a flight attendant uniform.

By introducing the new concept of virtual people in its safety video, the airline aims to appeal to its diverse customer base of all ages and cultural backgrounds. The elegant visual presentation is designed to arouse passengers' interest and increase attention. The video features the virtual human Rina and the four-member virtual girl group MAVE, both creations of Metaverse Entertainment from the company Netmarble F&C.

The setting for the new safety video is the “Korean Air Safety Lounge”, whose design incorporates aircraft motifs. The virtual space was created to make it easier to explain and understand the safety regulations on board. Rina, who gives safety instructions in a flight attendant's uniform, is a virtual human who completed safety training at Korean Air's Cabin Crew Training Center and was appointed as a volunteer flight attendant. The MAVE members play the role of passengers who follow the safety instructions.
