Krems: Wachaubahn starts in summer 2023

The tourist Wachau Railway will end its winter break on Saturday, March 18, 2023 and open the 2023 summer season. The climate ticket is not valid on this route. Network card holders only receive a discount.

The Wachaubahn connects Krems an der Donau with Emmersdorf and will run every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday in the 2023 season from March 18th. From May 29th to November 1st she is out and about for the guests every day. In Advent - from December 2nd to 17th - the train runs on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Reservation of bicycle parking spaces is strongly recommended. Climate ticket holders travel at a reduced fare.
