Libyan Express will soon expand its fleet with an ATR42-500 turboprop aircraft, which will operate as the 5A-ATR.
The carrier's fleet currently consists of the Boeing 737-300, registered as 5A-GRA, and the B737-500, registered as 5A-VIP. The 5A-ATR is the airline's first turboprop aircraft. According to Mavio News, maintenance work is currently being carried out at the Safi Aviation Park, which is located on the grounds of Malta International Airport.
