Ryanair today announced the launch of a new flight connection between Linz Airport and London-Stansted from October 28th this year. With four weekly flights, two return flights each, Ryanair fills the gap created by the suspension of connections by Lufthansa and other airlines at Linz Airport. This new route will not only offer competitive airfares for Upper Austria's residents and visitors, but also better connect the region with a major European city.
Ryanair's arrival in Linz will not only serve outbound traffic, but also boost inbound tourism to the region, thereby promoting growth and development. Andreas Gruber from Ryanair emphasized the importance of this new connection and highlighted Linz's role as the second Austrian airport that Ryanair has opened in the last two years.
