Ljubljana Airport recorded a further development in terms of passenger numbers last Thursday. The airport has so far been able to process 900.000 passengers, which means the airport is slowly but surely approaching the million mark.

Ljubljana Airport was able to announce the following development last Thursday: The Slovenian airport was able to pass the number of 900.000 passengers on the said day, meaning that the million passengers mark can slowly but surely be reached. The million mark was last reached in the pre-Corona year of 2019, and this passenger volume could be reached again this year. The forecast for the 2023 financial year is 1,2 million passengers, which means Ljubljana Airport could break the million mark for the first time since 2019. However, the forecast passenger volume is still 30 and 34 percent below the levels of 2019 and 2018, as the Ex-Yu Aviation News portal announces.
