For the sixth time, the "Culture with Winemakers" event series will take place in Lower Austria's eight wine-growing regions. From the end of June to the beginning of September 2025, a total of 36 events invite visitors to experience art, culture, and wine in unusual settings such as winery courtyards, cellar lanes, and wine taverns. The highlights of the program were recently presented in Vienna.
Organized by the Lower Austrian Tourist Board, the State Department of Arts and Culture, and Wine Lower Austria, the event series has secured a permanent place in the state's event calendar with its intimate events that combine culture, cuisine, and wine. This year's season also offers visitors a diverse range of artistic offerings, ranging from Viennese songs and dialect folk to soul and jazz, indie pop, and cabaret readings.
The events not only offer cultural enjoyment in a unique atmosphere, but often also the opportunity to taste wines from the region's best winemakers and enjoy regional specialties. Depending on the event, aperitifs, cellar tours, or even award-winning menus may be included in the price. Tickets are available directly from the participating wineries. The Viennese song quartet "Die Strottern & Blech" will kick off the event on June 27 at the Herzogenburg Abbey Winery, and the event will conclude on September 5 with aNNika at the Hiedler Winery in Langenlois.
