Lufthansa Group extends cooperation with Air Baltic for wet lease

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Lufthansa Group is continuing its long-standing partnership with the Latvian airline Air Baltic. The cooperation under a wet lease agreement will be extended for a further three years beyond summer 2025.

This agreement will enable the Lufthansa Group to flexibly deploy up to 21 fuel-efficient Airbus A220-300s in summer and five in winter. This will enable capacities to be adjusted to seasonal peaks in demand while strengthening connections at the Lufthansa Group's intercontinental hubs. The aircraft and crews will be provided by Air Baltic, which has been a reliable partner since 2019.
