This year, Lufthansa Technik is welcoming 339 young people who are starting their apprenticeship or dual study program at various locations in Germany. The number of new trainees is therefore slightly higher than last year's level.

Despite a tight training market, the company was able to fill 94 percent of the training positions offered, particularly in industrial occupations at the Hamburg location. Here, an increase of 12 percent in the number of positions filled was recorded compared to the previous year.

Andrea Jacobsen, Head of Entry Programs at Lufthansa Technik, emphasized the importance of successful recruitment, which reflects young people's trust in the high-quality training at Lufthansa Technik. The company recently launched a new employer brand aimed at positioning itself as an attractive employer in the increasingly competitive labor market. In addition, recruitment measures have been expanded to specifically target international applicants as well as experienced professionals of retirement age.
