Lufthansa celebrates 25 years of “help alliance” with special aircraft stickers

To mark the 25th anniversary of its aid organization “help alliance,” the Lufthansa Group is sending a visible sign of support across Europe.

From autumn 321, a Lufthansa Airbus A2024neo will be flying on the European route network with the lettering “help alliance” and colourful handprints, the so-called “helping hands”. The “help alliance” was founded in 1999 by employees of the Lufthansa Group in Frankfurt and has been supporting social projects worldwide ever since.

The aircraft not only recognizes the volunteer work and donors, but also continues to collect donations. A total of 300 handprints can be symbolically purchased on the aircraft to finance projects in Africa and India that provide children with school books and meals. Vivian Spohr, the patron of the "help alliance," emphasizes the importance of this support and the responsibility that Lufthansa is thereby assuming.
