In aviation, flight attendants are not only responsible for serving food and drinks, but also take on important safety-related tasks. They also receive extensive training in the event of an emergency.

Lufthansa has announced that course number 2.000 has recently started. The training for this anniversary course takes place in the Lufthansa Aviation Training training center at Frankfurt Airport.

Astrid Neben, Chief Human Resources Officer Lufthansa Airlines, says: "Being a flight attendant at Lufthansa Airlines is an immensely important role, both for the well-being and safety of our guests on board. By doubling the number of basic training courses, we are taking an important step to meet the increasing demand for qualified flight attendants. We are proud to be able to welcome the participants of the 2000th basic training course in Frankfurt this year and wish them all the best of luck on their way to becoming a flight attendant."
