London Luton Airport, which is mainly used by low-cost airlines, had a total of 2023 million passengers in 16,2. Of these, 1,2 million passengers occurred in the calendar month of December 2023.

A new executive lounge has opened inside the terminal, as well as 18 shops and restaurants, including Italian restaurant Nolito, sushi specialist Yo! with assembly line, the pan-Asian noodle bar Chopstix and the Mexican fast food restaurant Benito’s. The toilets and washrooms as well as the play equipment for children were also modernized.

“2023, the year we celebrated our 85th anniversary, was another milestone year for London Luton Airport. With the introduction of the Luton Airport Express and the DART, central London has never been so close. Our continued investment and commitment to being the easiest and friendliest airport in London has meant that passengers are starting to notice the difference,” said company boss Alberto Martin.
