MSC Cruises will be offering its first Alaska season from Seattle in summer 2026 with the MSC Poesia. From May 11 to September 17, 2026, the cruise ship will make weekly trips to impressive natural destinations in Alaska and Canada.
The destinations include Ketchikan, Juneau, Tracy Arm and the indigenous Icy Strait Point in Alaska, as well as Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. The MSC Poesia, which is a medium-sized ship ideal for the narrow passages of the Inside Passage and the glacier areas, offers travelers a combination of scenic highlights and cultural encounters.
In addition to the Alaska sailings, there will be two Grand Voyages through the Panama Canal. These sailings from Miami to Seattle and back will feature stops in ten ports along the West Coast of the United States and in Central America, including Cartagena in Colombia and Puntarenas in Costa Rica. The itinerary includes cultural and adventure excursions, including kayaking, whale watching and one of the world's longest ziplines at Icy Strait Point.
