Monthly figures: Berlin with 1,48 million passengers in January 2024

In January 2024, Berlin-Brandenburg Airport was used by 1,48 million passengers. In direct comparison to the same month last year, the increase was 12,8 percent. However: In January 2019, Schönefeld and Tegel had a combined 2,42 million passengers.

A total of 11.980 flight movements were registered at BER last month. Compared to the same month last year, this number increased by 8,5 percent: in January 2023 there were 11.046 takeoffs and landings. In January 2019, 22.317 flight movements were registered.

Around 2024 tons of air freight were loaded at BER in January 2.860, around 17 percent more than in January 2023 and almost 8 percent more than in the pre-Corona year 2019.
