BER: 30 trainees and students start their careers

On Monday, 30 young women and men between the ages of 15 and 22 began their training or studies at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB). 21 trainees start in commercial and industrial-technical professions, 9 students in a dual course of study their in-company training.

“Training is an important investment in the future. Despite the difficult financial situation at FBB due to the corona, we are therefore continuing to train as before. We need qualified young talent, especially when the pandemic is over. Our new airport is not only a popular training location in the region. We were also able to arouse the interest of applicants nationwide who want to use Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH as a runway for their careers, ”says Michael Halberstadt, Human Resources Manager at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH.

Application phase for apprenticeship year 2022 started

August 1st is also the start of the application phase for the 2022 apprenticeship year. FBB will be offering nine apprenticeships and six courses of study in the coming year. The application deadline is October 31, 2021.
