National Airlines has announced the order of four new Boeing 777-200F freighters, to be delivered in late 2025 and 2026. This decision marks an important step in the airline's fleet growth plan to meet increasing global transportation demands.
"This underlines our commitment to providing efficient, resource-saving and modern air cargo services," said Chairman and President Christopher Alf during the Farnborough Air Show 2024.
Currently, National Airlines operates an ageing fleet of B747 freighters, including six B747-400(BCF), one B747-400ERF and one B747-400FSCD. The airline is also evaluating alternative fleet plans due to the shortage of quadjets and has not yet announced whether the new B777s will replace some of the older B747s. In addition to the freighter fleet, National Airlines also operates passenger charter flights with one A330-200, one A330-300 and one B757-200.
