The travel company Tui has evaluated the current booking figures and found that the destination New York is particularly in demand among travelers when it comes to city trips. In second place – ahead of London and Barcelona – is the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.

According to Tui, city travelers are booking trips to the US metropolis of New York particularly frequently this year. The city that never sleeps can be easily explored with guided excursions. On the TUI Musement National Geographic Day Tour “The Untold Story of Central Park,” a trained tour guide provides exciting insights into African-American history. Why not visit a city from above? The best way to marvel at the atmosphere of New York, including the tallest skyscrapers in the world, is on the “Liberty Harbor Helicopter Flight”.

In second place is the German city of Hamburg. This is a little surprising, as this destination appears to be in greater demand among Tui customers in “competition” with Barcelona and London. The fact that there are numerous opportunities for excursions and experiences in the Free and Hanseatic City may play a role.

The British capital London takes third place. This destination is a perennial favorite that has been attracting city travelers for many decades. Fourth place goes to Barcelona, which is particularly popular with younger travelers, and number five in the ranking is the Portuguese capital Lisbon.

The Tui city trip ranking at a glance:

  1. New York
  2. Hamburg
  3. London
  4. Barcelona
  5. Lisbon
