The tour operator "Momento by sz-Reisen" is offering two new exclusive direct flights from Erfurt-Weimar to the Greek destinations of Chalkidiki and Santorini for summer and autumn 2025. This allows travelers from the region a comfortable start to their vacation without a long journey.

From June 4 to 11, 2025, flights will be served to the Chalkidiki peninsula, which entices with turquoise waters, fine sandy beaches, and a blend of nature and history. The seven-day trip can be booked from 799 euros per person, with a flight-only package also available starting at 349 euros per person. Chalkidiki is located approximately 700 kilometers southeast of Erfurt and is known for its three "finger" peninsulas: Kassandra, Sithonia, and Athos, which offer a diverse landscape and numerous bathing opportunities.

Another destination is Santorini, the Cycladic island, which can be reached directly from Erfurt-Weimar from October 21 to 28, 2025. Santorini is famous for its white houses with blue domes and picturesque sunsets. "momento by sz-Reisen" promises a diverse selection of hotels, personal on-site support, and customized excursion options. Susanne Hermann, Managing Director of Erfurt-Weimar Airport, welcomes the cooperation and emphasizes the expanded vacation variety and convenience for travelers in the region. Santorini is located approximately 1800 kilometers southeast of Erfurt and is of volcanic origin, which gives the island its characteristic caldera landscape.

The new direct flights underline the efforts of Erfurt-Weimar Airport to expand its range of direct connections to attractive holiday destinations and to meet the needs of the regional population.
