Norddeutsche Landesbank is currently examining offers from investors interested in purchasing the aircraft portfolio. It will not be until spring 2024 that a decision will be made as to whether and to what extent sales will actually take place.

Nord LB has been active in financing aircraft for many years. It is now becoming apparent that the public institution could withdraw. What this means is that, according to a report from Reuters, the sale of the entire portfolio is under discussion. The value is estimated at around three billion euros.
