Frankfurt Airport was able to increase its passenger numbers in 2023 compared to the previous year in 2022. However, Fraport's international airports show different results.

2023 million passengers were counted at Frankfurt Airport in November 4,6. This means that the airport was able to increase by 2023 percent in 12,2 compared to the previous year. The passenger numbers at Frankfurt Airport are still below the pre-Corona level; specifically, Frankfurt Airport's passenger numbers are still around nine percent below the pre-Corona level.

The international Fraport airports show a mixed picture in terms of passenger numbers. While some airports were able to achieve growth compared to the previous year, passenger volumes at other airports deteriorated.

An example of the first case is Ljubljana Airport, which achieved an increase of 37 percent. Ljubljana Airport achieved a passenger volume of 91.786 passengers. Peruvian Lima Airport was also able to increase its passenger volume to 1,9 million passengers. This corresponds to an increase of 9,9 percent. In addition to the airports already mentioned, the Greek regional airports were also able to improve their passenger numbers. Specifically, growth of 13 percent was achieved. Antalya Airport was also able to maintain the existing demand for flights to Antalya. The airport was able to handle a passenger volume of 1,5 million passengers. This corresponds to an increase of 3,9 percent.

The Brazilian airports Fortaleza and Porte Alegre in particular recorded a decline. These airports recorded passenger traffic of 1 million, a decrease of 12,5 percent. In addition to the Brazilian airports, the Bulgarian regional airports also suffered declines. Burgas and Varna airports recorded passenger traffic of 83.347 passengers, a decrease of 2,9 percent.
