The airport was able to complete the construction of the new parking garage.

With an investment volume of around 36 million euros, the multi-storey car park built by the general contractor Goldbeck is the largest single project in the airport's history. Construction began in June 2019. P4 offers a total of 3.600 parking spaces. In the future, the multi-storey car park should also set an example for the sustainability of the airport.

With a planned, highly efficient photovoltaic system on the top level of the new car park, which is supposed to generate significantly more electricity than the car park consumes in operation, we are taking an important step towards climate-friendly mobility, ”said Albert Füracker, Bavarian Minister of Finance and Home Affairs Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Flughafen Nürnberg GmbH on the occasion of the opening of the new multi-storey car park.
