In 2023, 3,93 million passengers used Nuremberg Albrecht Dürer Airport for their trips, which corresponds to an increase of 19,9 percent compared to the previous year. Sales revenue at group level reached around 100 million euros, an increase of around 23 percent.

Scheduled transport recorded a 28,3 percent increase in passenger volume, mainly due to growing low-cost traffic and stable offerings. The flourishing low-cost transport, led by Ryanair, remains a trend in Nuremberg. Despite a decline in air cargo, the airport recorded an increase in aircraft movements.

The airport closed the 2023 financial year with negative earnings after taxes, but recorded an improvement in earnings compared to the previous year. Cash flow also increased significantly. The number of employees increased to 1.079 and the airport received positive reviews from travelers.
