Nuremberg expects passenger numbers to increase during the 2024 summer holidays

Nuremberg Airport expects around 26 passengers during the Bavarian summer holidays from July 9 to September 2024, 730.000, an increase of around 18.000 passengers compared to the previous year. A total of 24 airlines will fly to over 60 destinations, with a focus on sunny destinations such as Antalya, Mallorca and Crete.

The most popular travel destinations from Nuremberg are Antalya, Mallorca and Crete. Important international hubs such as Frankfurt, Istanbul and Amsterdam also play a central role in the flight offer. The busiest day will be September 7, 2024, when the airport expects around 19.500 passengers.

Airport operators recommend that passengers book their parking spaces in advance and check that their travel documents are valid. Newly added baggage handling machines for selected airlines are intended to make the check-in process easier.
