Air travelers from Nuremberg Airport are spoiled for choice during the Bavarian Whitsun holidays: with around 60 destinations in the summer flight schedule, popular travel destinations such as Rome, Nice, Faro and Dalaman are on the program. Turkey, Spain and Greece top the list of the most sought-after regions.

A total of around 241.000 passengers are expected during the two holiday weeks, similar to last year. The busiest day is expected to be Saturday, May 18, with around 15.600 passengers. Antalya with over 44.000 passengers and Mallorca with around 31.000 are among the top destinations, followed by Heraklion on Crete with around 13.000.

In addition to beach holidays and city trips, many travelers also focus on visiting friends and relatives abroad. The flight offering will be further expanded in the summer, including flights to Bastia on Corsica and Nuremberg's new sister city Brașov in Romania. More than 1.710 takeoffs and landings are planned for the holiday season. Before departure, travelers can visit the newly designed duty free shop and get inspired.
