At the start of the Whitsun holidays in Baden-Württemberg, Stuttgart Airport is preparing for the first big wave of travel of the year. Over 4.300 flights are planned for the two holiday weeks after Pentecost, starting from May 17th to June 2nd, 2024. The busiest day will be Friday, May 17th, 2024, with 274 planned takeoffs and landings. Among the most popular destinations, Antalya ranks first with over 160 connections, followed by Palma de Mallorca with over 150 flights.

To ensure a relaxed start to your vacation, Stuttgart Airport recommends that travelers arrive at the airport at least two hours before departure, especially given the expected high activity in the early morning and afternoon. The Federal Police recommends arriving at passenger checkpoints 90 minutes before departure, with less hand luggage speeding up the process. The airport is easily accessible by public transport, and drivers can use the Kiss & Fly policy in front of the terminal, which allows them to stop for free for up to eight minutes. Travelers who are traveling for at least seven days can also take advantage of APCOA's Pentecost special to reserve their parking space in the P0 car park, with the first hour still being free.
