Nuremberg Airport is expecting around 240.000 passengers during the Bavarian Pentecost holidays, which are traditionally considered to be the busiest time for travel. Between May 26 and June 11, 2023, 1.800 take-offs and landings are registered.

On average, around 14.100 passengers per day are expected during the holiday season with around 106 take-offs and landings. The busiest day is scheduled for May 28 with 15.600 passengers with an estimated 113 take-offs and landings. In general, there is a trend towards larger aircraft with fewer flight movements. The utilization of the aircraft tends to be higher than in previous years.

Antalya and Mallorca are the undisputed leaders in the top 10 most popular destinations from Nuremberg. In the country ranking, Turkey, Spain, Greece and Italy are at the top. In addition to Istanbul, Amsterdam and Dublin, the most popular city destinations also include London, where two airports, Heathrow and Stansted, are served. Destinations in Eastern Europe are also well represented in the flight schedule.
