After being named “Best Airline in the World”, Qatar Airways is focusing on further expanding its route network. This is demonstrated by the recently confirmed flight expansions on selected routes.

Qatar Airways has won the SkyTrax Award for the best airline in the world 2024. At the same time, the airline is continuing to work on optimizing its own flight schedule, as the recently confirmed plans show. From October 27, the airline plans to increase flights to London Heathrow Airport with eight daily flights and 56 weekly flights. The city of Male in the Maldives is also to be served more frequently, with 28 weekly flights planned from the end of December. The airline has previously flown to Male 13 times a week. The US city of Miami and Tokyo are also to be included in the plans. From December 16, Miami will be served twelve times a week, and the Japanese capital eleven times a week.
