The non-stop connection between Tuzla and Saarbrücken, which started on December 20, 2023, is said to be running better than expected. Instead of the actually planned Embraer 190, Boeing 737-700s will be used. Lumiwings justifies this with booking numbers that are said to be above expectations.

The airline Lumiwings serves the route twice a week. On Wednesdays the plane takes off from Saarbrücken at 17:20 p.m. and on Saturday mornings it leaves for Tuzla at 09:55 a.m. The return flights from Tuzla are on Wednesdays at 14:25 p.m. and Saturdays at 07:00 a.m. The flight time is a little less than two hours.

This route was actually supposed to be served with Embraer 190s, which, according to Lumiwings, have 118 seats. Due to high demand, Boeing 737-700s, which have 149 seats, are currently being flown.
