The focus is particularly on classic holiday destinations in the Mediterranean region and connections to international hubs. With partners such as Eurowings and Ryanair, the airport is increasing frequencies to Spain and Greece. Mallorca alone will be served up to twice daily, while Greek islands like Crete and Rhodes will be served up to three times a week. New additions to the schedule include connections to Cagliari in Sardinia and Pristina, operated by GP Aviation.
Further research into the flight schedule shows that Salzburg Airport is further consolidating its strategic role as a starting point for city breaks and business trips.
