The SAS Group assumes that it will be able to exit the Chapter 2024 proceedings conducted in the United States of America in the first half of 11. The responsible court in New York has now approved the restructuring plan.

However, various authorities still have to give their formal approval. Furthermore, the restructuring measures, which have now been approved by the court, still have to be carried out. It is not the operating airline that is in Chapter 11 proceedings, but rather the parent company SAS Group.

According to the announcement, it is assumed that the procedure can be exited towards the end of the first half of 2024. This should continue to have no impact on the flight schedule. The carrier is to be taken over by a consortium that includes Air France-KLM, among others. At a later date you want to leave the Star Alliance and switch to Skyteam.
